Currently ranked amongst the top-15 drivers in the world, Mattia is an extremely fast and talented youngster from Italy who has been making waves all across the international scene, with Euros finals, Montpellier GP finals, Podium at Philippine Masters 2025, and countless race wins such as Matrix Trophy, Hotrace cup,...🚀!

Mattia just finished 3rd at the 2025 Italian Nationals at Ongaroring, a great result with his first outing with TRC products!

We look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration with Mattia as we continue to push the development of our products with the worlds best drivers 👌🤩!

Here's 5 things we asked Mattia to get to know him a little better 😉!

𝟭) 𝗵𝗼𝘄/𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗖?

My passion for RC was passed down to me by my father, as he also raced when he was younger. As soon as I was 8 years old, since I kept asking Santa Claus for one, he got me one and from there we started our journey.

𝟮) 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸?

I can't say I have a favourite track, because there are so many beautiful ones, and like I think many drivers, every new track creates new emotions for us, so I don't have a favourite.

𝟯) 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗥𝗖 𝗽𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀?

For now I have only tried the 6 hole pistons and I found them really good. Soon I will try all the other types.

𝟰) 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗖?

The best memories I have in the RC world are all the friendships I have created, and all the moments on and off the track spent with them, Of course also the victories and podiums, European finals and all the major goals we have achieved so far.

𝟱) 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗖 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽?

I really like to eat something typical local when I go to a place, but if I had to choose one, I would definitely say the sushi I ate in the Philippines in Manila.
